A DELEGATION of residents from Pennymead Tower in Harlow have been promised urgent talks with Harlow Council over their living conditions.
They attended a recent Harlow Council meeting where they informed the councillors that due to changes in the vent systems, the flats have become “very cold”.
This has led to “increased heating costs” and a decline in the living standards of residents.
Portfolio holder for Housing, cllr Rod Truan said: “The safety of our residents is paramount and changes were made to ensure this continued.
“However, I will pledge to meet with residents to discuss their concerns and see what we can do.”
