IT WAS a sad day for Harlow as Marks and Spencers closed its doors for the final time on Saturday.

It appears that a number of staff have taken up positions elsewhere but nevertheless, YH hopes that the plans for the town centre area can quickly fill the gap left by a store that is part of Harlow’s history.

YH popped in to buy a fine bottle of Macon Villages and toast the memory of all that worked at Marks and Sparks in Harlow.
