COMMUNITIES minister Eric Pickles was clearly very excited at the progress being made at the Harlow Enterprise Zone.

The old Nortel site is in the process of development and so the minister has to don hard hat and wellies but he was clearly very impressed with what he saw.

He abandoned his script and extolled the virtues of the development.

Mr Pickles was joined by Harlow MP, Robert Halfon, leader of Harlow Council, Jon Clempner and representatives of the development.
