A HARLOW man has been arrested for a series of alleged offences after a car ploughed into a house.

Police were called on Sunday afternoon to North Grove after a grey Vauxhall Vectra hit several cars and then ploughed into a house.

A man made off from the scene but was arrested soon after.

A 25-year-old man from Harlow was arrested for dangerous driving, possession of drugs and failing to stop for the police.

He remains in police custody.
