SOME residents in Bishop’s Stortford have received bogus council tax enforcement notices from a company called QDC collection agents who are asking to collect unpaid council tax.

This is a scam and the letters have no connection with East Herts Council. The address at the bottom of the letter is QDC, PO Box Macclefield SK9 1NY Tel: 0870 820 0419.

If you receive a bogus notice, please report it to the police on T: 101 and don’t pay it. ENDS
