STUDENTS at Pemberley Academy have been commentating 100 years since the end of the First World War this week with displays and activities across the school.
The children all contributed to a display outside of the school which is made up of 100 poppies and members of the schools lego club even created the iconic flower.
Deputy head of school Lisa Fish said “Its so important that all of the children understand the history of the war and all of those who were involved from countries across the world.
“Being 100 years since the end of the conflict the school wanted to do something special and we hope our community enjoy seeing the work the children have done.”
