Police appeal for witnesses over Rectory Wood assault

THREE men were arrested on suspicion of assault following an incident in Rectory Woods, Harlow on July 2 where a man received serious, but not life threatening injuries. Police are appealing for witnesses.

The injured man was found close to the cycle track off Fifth Avenue, Harlow, at about 3pm on July 2 and was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries.

A 28-year-old man from Harlow, a 27-year-old man from Harlow, and a 25-year-old man of no fixed address were arrested, questioned and released on police bail until September 4 while further enquiries take place.

Anyone who was in the area and can provide any information to police about this incident is asked to contact Pc Jon Ward at Harlow Police Station on 101 or via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
