Man charged after high speed car chase

A 23-year-old man from Harlow has been charged following an incident in Harlow in July when a vehicle failed to stop for police.
Thomas Purvis, of Potter Street, has been charges with dangerous driving, failing to stop for a police constable, possession of cocaine and using a vehicle without insurance.
The incident on Saturday, July 20, happened at about 1.05am when a Renault Clio failed to stop for police in the area of Old Road, Old Harlow.
He has been released on bail to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates Court on September 19.
