Playhouse Recruits Volunteers With The Scare Factor.
Education: Secondary / Tue 17th Sep 2013 at 04:41pm
The Playhouse are currently recruiting volunteers to take part in The Hatch- Harlow’s first scare attraction, due to run at the Playhouse in late October.
They need two teams of seven volunteers, with each team made up of six females and one male. Volunteers would be needed would be Wed 16th to Sunday 20th October, and Friday 25th October to Sunday 3rd November, with hours varying between 1pm-10pm on a rota basis.
Volunteers will be play-acting in a scare capacity, which means being able to play scary characters with confidence. Due to the nature of the attraction, it’s important that volunteers are over sixteen years old but need to look young enough to play school-children The volunteers will be taught how to make-up and dress accordingly (with provided costumes and make-up), and appropriate ‘scare skills’
The Hatch is the worlds only ‘crawling experience’, therefore volunteers may spend periods of time on knees, so mobility is important. We’ll be looking to make sure everyone has a fun time and that we give the people of Harlow and beyond the fright of their lives. We’ll be giving out freebies to volunteers for various things along the way!
