A MAN from Colchester is on bail while police investigate an incident in Harlow were a man was assaulted by a motorist.

The 25-year-old from Rowhedge was arrested following the incident in Potter Street at 8.15am on November 8.

The driver of a Mazda was assaulted by the driver of a BMW following a verbal altercation. The victim, aged in his 40s from Harlow, received bruising to his forehead.

The man arrested has been released on police bail pending further enquiries until December 18.
