Appeal after man robbed near The Stow

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a teenager was robbed in a Harlow street last night.

The 19-year-old victim was in Minchen Road at about 9.45pm on Monday, December 16, when he was approached by two men.

One of the men asked him for a light and the victim began to check his pockets.

The man then punched him in the face. The second man then stole his gold JD bag.

The first suspect is described as white, 5ft 8 inches tall, of slim build and aged 19 to20 years old. He was wearing a blue baseball cap and a black zip-up hoody with grey jogging bottoms and black Nike trainers. He spoke with a local accent.

The second man was white, 5ft 4 ins to 5ft 8inches tall, of stocky build and aged in his late teens to early twenties. He was wearing a grey hooded jacket with a white line on the sleeves and blue jeans.

As a result of the attack, the victim suffered a cut to his lip and pain to his lower jaw.
