Man sought after glass attack near Harvey Centre

POLICE want to identify a man who was caught on CCTV close to the time that a security guard was assaulted in Harlow.
The victim, a 26-year-old man from Harlow, had approached the man as part of his duties, when he was struck with a glass to his head three times causing cuts and bruising which needed hospital treatment.
The incident happened between 4.30pm and 4.46pm on Tuesday January 7 in Playhouse Square. The man is believed to have run off in the direction of Northbrooks.
The suspect is described as black, aged in his early 20s, of medium build. He was wearing a black padded jacket with a red logo on the sleeve, a black woollen hat, light grey jogging bottoms and white Nike trainers.
Anyone who recognises the man or who has any other information about this incident is asked to call PC Sam Saville at Harlow Police Station on 101 or ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
