Police appeal after spate of burglaries in Woodhill

POLICE are appealing for information following two burglaries and one attempt in Harlow.

Three houses in Woodhill, Harlow, were targeted since January 7.

Between 9.30am and 5.10pm on January 7, glass in a rear door of one house was smashed and stolen from inside was electrical equipment including an Apple iPad, Sony laptop, Sony PlayStation 3, Lenovo laptop, Toshiba laptop and various console games and DVDs.

Between 2pm on January 11 and 10am on January 13, entry was gained to the rear garden of another property and a brick-built shed entered. Attempts appear to have been made to gain entry to the house which were unsuccessful.

Between 10.15pm on January 12 and 6.30am on January 13, a rear wooden door to another property was forced open. Stolen from inside was a kitchen knife.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them at Harlow police station on 101 where the officers investigating are Dc Charlotte Armitage and Dc Ann-Marie Pitcher.
