Woman taken to hospital after crash

A WOMAN has been taken to hospital following a road traffic collision on Epping Road, Roydon, Harlow.

The head on collision happened at approximately 11.30am and caused chest injuries to one of the car occupants, as well as extensive damage to both cars.

A spokesman for EEAST said: “We were called at 11.32am and treated a woman in her mid 60s who was suffering from chest injuries which were also causing her difficulty breathing. Two rapid response vehicles and an ambulance attended the scene and we took the casualty to the Princess Alexandra hospital for further treatment.”

The injuries sustained were not believed to be life-threatening.
