Police appeal after bogus workman burgles Westfield house

POLICE are appealing for the public’s help in identifying a man they want to speak to in connection with a burglary in Harlow.
At 11am on Monday, February 17, a man called at a house in Westfield and claimed to be working on a neighbour’s trees and asked to look at the trees at that address.
He was allowed access by the elderly woman. While inside the woman’s house it is believed he stole around £50 cash and a bank book.
Anyone with information or who can identify the man in the CCTV image is asked to contact Dc Gav Morris at Harlow CID on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
