Raindrops Nursery praised as Outstanding by Ofsted

RAINDROPS Day Nursery in Harlow have been awarded “Outstanding” in every respect following their recent Ofsted inspection.
To celebrate this achievement Raindrops held a special celebration at their Harberts Road nursery on Monday 23 June 2014 and invited the Leader of Harlow Council, Councillor Jon Clempner and the Chair of Harlow Council Councillor Ian Beckett to attend as their guests.
Harlow Council has established a Harlow Strategic Partnership for Educational Attainment to support improvements in educational attainment. Part of this work is to ensure that before school children are equipped with the skills to learn.
Councillor Jon Clempner, Leader of Harlow Council, said: “The Council knows how vitally important education is to the life chances of people in Harlow, and Early Years provision in particular can set young people off on the right path to a lifelong love of learning.
“It is particularly pleasing for the Council therefore to see that Raindrops Day Nursery continuing to set an outstanding example. This results in children who, in the words of the Ofsted inspector, are ‘excited, confident and eager to learn’, and that the partnership with parents is ‘exceptional’.
“I’d like to offer my congratulations and thanks to all the staff at Raindrops for being a beacon of excellence in Harlow.”
Councillor Ian Beckett, Chair of Harlow Council, said: “Positive Ofsted inspections are extremely important to Harlow’s image and I am delighted and proud to have attended today to celebrate Raindrops ‘outstanding’ report. My daughter attended this nursery so as a parent I know how hard Raindrops staff work to help prepare children on their way to learning and the difference this makes.”
