Harlow man charged after women trapped following car crash

A 26-year-old Harlow man has been charged after a car was left overturned in a ditch following a collision with his van

Emergency services attended at the scene in Hollyfield Road, Waltham Abbey at 7.30pm on Saturday.

Two women in a Fiat Panda were trapped in the upturned vehicle and cut free by firefighters after an hour and a half.

They were treated at the scene and taken to hospital and have since been released.

The driver of the van, Ricky Djemal Fetti, of Risdens in Harlow, was arrested at the scene and charged with driving without due care and attention.

Mr Fetti is due to appear Chelmsford Magistrates court on October 21.
