Man sought after vicious attack in the Water Gardens in Harlow

The incident happened at 3.30am on Saturday October 4. The victim was walking from the town centre with two women when he was approached by another man who is thought to have followed them after an earlier argument.

The victim, a 29-year-old man, was then assaulted by The Water Gardens shopping centre and was knocked unconscious. He came around to discover that he had head and face injuries and he needed four stitches to a wound in his mouth.

The suspect is described as white, around 5ft 8in tall and was aged 18 to 25. He was wearing a white polo shirt, with jeans and trainers. Investigating officer PC Paul Marks said: “This man was caught on CCTV at The Water Gardens and I would very much like to hear from anyone who knows who he is. They can call me at Harlow Police Station on 101 or they can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
