Tanys DellPATIENTS, visitors and staff at Princess Alexandra Hospital were treated to a chorus of cheerful Christmas caroling on Thursday from the children of Tany’s Dell Community Primary School in Harlow.

Around 20 pupils and teachers grouped into a corner of the Slades Restaurant to entertain passersby with Christmas classics such as ‘Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer’ and ‘Rockin’ around the Christmas tree’. Some patients and staff even popped into the restaurant to have a sing-along!

Voluntary Services Manager, Emma Taylor, organized the carol service with the youngsters and said the morning was a huge success, adding: “I am so pleased that the pupils could come in and sing for us today.

“It was such an uplifting morning and was popular with staff and visitors alike. It’s certainly made my day and I think the children really enjoyed themselves!”
