Frustrating morning for commuters as rail delays

News / Mon 19th Jan 2015 at 10:43am

IT HAS been another frustrating morning for rail commuters after a number of delays due to signalling problems.

There has been signalling problems at Roydon and a points failure at London Liverpool Street.

Operator Abellio Greater Anglia said: “Services between Bishop’s Stortford and Stratford have been suspended until further notice to ease congestion while services to Liverpool Street from Stansted Airport and Cambridge face delays of up to 10 minutes as trains are running at reduced speeds”.

Trains running to and from Liverpool Street may also be cancelled, delayed by up to 15 minutes or terminated at and started back from Hackney Downs due to a points failure.

Tfl Underground and Tfl London Buses will pass valid Abellio Greater Anglia ticket holders on reasonable routes from Seven Sisters to central London via Hackney Downs.
