Police seek to trace two men over robbery on The Stow cycle path

POLICE in Harlow are appealing for information about a robbery on a cycle path near to The Stow.
The incident happened on Saturday January 17 at around 5pm when the victim was approached and spoken to by a man. After the victim declined to hand over any of his posessions he was hit on the head from behind by a second suspect and then punched in the face by the first. The victim’s mobile phone, wallet, cash and keys were stolen.
One of the suspects is described as being a white man, aged in his mid to late 20s with short dark brown hair. He was around 5ft 10 with a medium build and was wearing a grey zip-up hoodie top and jeans.
Investigating officer Dc Jo Lanz said: “I am especially keen to trace a group of around three to five men who were walking along the cycle path at the time as they may have witnessed this robbery.”
