Harlow Town 1 v 1 Wroxham
THIS IS fast becoming a funny old league. Teams seem to dropping points all over the place and it may all be case of who can hold their nerve between now and the end of the season.
The reality is that Harlow Town have not won in four games and that must cause some consternation for the Hawks.
However, this hard earned point meant that Harlow moved back to the top of the table
A great strike from Alex Read secured a draw for Harlow, having gone a goal behind.
Wroxham opened the scoring in the 25th minute with a Danny White strike from close range.
It was top-scorer Alex Read who pulled Harlow level in the 41st minute with a wicked dipping shot past the Wroxham keeper.
Both sides slugged it out in the second half but just could not find a way through.
Despite dropping two points, the result was enough for the Hawks to leap-frog Needham Market into first place. The league-leaders had fallen to a 1-0 defeat to Brightlingsea Regent, giving Harlow a point advantage at the top of the table.
Needham still have two games in hand, but with some tricky away midweek ties coming up it is still all to play for.
The next game for Harlow is away to Cheshunt on Saturday 21st February. It is a 3pm kick off.
With eleven games left, there is everything to play for between now and the end of April.
