A HARLOW teenager was the “star” of Channel 5’s Benefit’s Britain.

The cameras followed Dean Rowley,19, as he showed what life is like for him on benefits in Harlow.

A number of Harlow residents followed the programme on social media and were not impressed as he described his benefits money as “free money”.

His friends and family were seen trying to get Danny to apply for a job.

The programme also saw Dean partying in the Poplar Kitten in Bush Fair.

Soon after, he has his benefits stopped for a month after missing a meeting.
Dean then goes for a “trial job interview” back at, you guessed it, The Poplar Kitten.

One person on Twitter said: “I have been unemployed for four days in last twenty years. There are jobs out there if you want them.”
