HAWKS Manager Danny Chapman today confirmed that striker Alex Read will be out of action for a minimum of four weeks.

Read who has scored 30 League goals this season, turned his ankle in the first half against Barkingside last Saturday (28th February).

After an X-Ray on Wednesday, Read was told he had a slight fracture to his ankle.

It was caused when he turned the ankle and the ligaments tore and pulled part of the bone away.

Harlow Town have arranged for a top sports doctor to examine Read for a second opinion before any further information can be released.
