MetamorphosesLET US drop in on the Moot House Players and see what is on this week…..

A spokesperson said:

“We are fast approaching our third production of the 2014/15 season. Metamorphosis, by Franz Kafka, adapted by Steven Berkoff & is now being directed for us by Kerry Rowland, is coming to Moot Hall next week.

”Gregor Samsa is a hard working, travelling salesman & his family depend on him totally. That all changes one fateful day, when he finds himself transformed…into a gigantic insect! Now he depends on his family, will they help him through this terrible ordeal? or will he be left alone, staring out at his old world?”

“Our cast is a mixture of regular faces & some new ones too. I’m very pleased to be taking on the lead role as Gregor Samsa, Claire Quley as Mrs Samsa, Geoff Leeds as Mr Samsa & Mike Rees, doing both The Chief Clerk & The Lodger. We have the returning Melissa Jones, who plays the other Lodger, coming back to us after a few years hiatus. Our newest & youngest face is that of Toni Tyler. Toni, who currently studies at Writtle College, is making her on stage debut with us & we are very pleased to have her playing the part of Greta.

Our director, Moot House Players favourite Kerry Rowland, is embarking on her first solo directors role & has really put her own imprint & impression upon this classic.

This really is a play you can not miss. We’re privileged & honoured to have come to an arrangement with Samuel French LTD to perform this play & we are defintely making the most of it, with exciting results.

Our performances are on Thursday 19th, Friday 20th & Saturday 21st, starting at 8pm every night.
Tickets are only £8 adult, £6 concession & can be booked on 01279 639170.
