Football: Harlow right back in it after away win at Ware.

Football / Tue 7th Apr 2015 am30 10:42am

Ryman Division One North

Ware 1 v 2 Harlow Town

HARLOW bounced back from the home defeat on Easter Saturday with a hard fought win against Ware.

Harlow are working very hard to secure promotion and this game may well defined their season.

League leaders, Needham Market could only draw with Dereham. This left Harlow just one point behind Needham Market with just three games to play.

Those games are against Maldon and Tiptree (H), Needham Market (A) and Thamesmead Town (H).

Harlow earned their three points through a penalty by Jamie Guy and the second goal by Craig Pope.

Ware scored with a late penalty but Harlow held on to keep their automatic promotion hopes alive.

The win takes Harlow onto 96 points from 43 games, and just one points behind Needham Market on 97. The game between the two sides on April 18th is looking more and more like it could be the title decider.

Before that, the Hawks host Maldon & Tiptree on Saturday 11th April. Kick off is at 3pm.
