Harlow PoliceTWO officers have been praised after performing life-saving CPR on a woman who had collapsed in her home.

Ps Parish and Pc Harrison were called to an address in Harlow just before 6pm on Sunday after being alerted by a concerned friend.

On arrival, the officers acted swiftly to force entry into the property where they found an unconscious female without a pulse.

Using their first aid police training they started compressions and continually talked to her until the ambulance arrived. Thanks to their quick actions she eventually regained consciousness.

Ps Parish said “We acted as any other police officers would in similar circumstances and are so glad we got there on time. After we assisted, the woman was taken to hospital by air ambulance. She is currently receiving treatment and we hope she makes a full recovery.”
