UKIP close their Harlow office

Politics / Sat 25th Jul 2015 at 05:52pm

HARLOW UKIP have closed their office in Staple Tye.

The office in Peagram Road was opened by MEP Patrick O’Flynn back in April.

There were hopes that should the party solidify their position in Harlow in both the local and the general election, then it may remain extend its lease however, the party has been reduced to two councillors and, as you may have noticed, they did not win the General Election.

UKIP leader, Bill Prior said: “This was only a temporary arrangement and it suited us at the time.

“UKIP are still committed to the town, addressing issues and serving the community.”

Actually Mrsacky we're not going anywhere! Sorry to disappoint you. The office is actually still in operation, it's the just the lease runs out in the next couple of months, and so the owner is exerting their right to announce the property as available shortly. Our deal with the lease holder was for the remainder of the twelve months. We are currently looking at this and other options, and Bill is therefore correct, unlike the misleading story! We don't have Union support like Labour nor an MP office to share like the Conservatives!!! We rely on donations and help from our supporters!
