Positive Harlow Greens decide to go it alone

THE Harlow Green Party held its founding meeting last Thursday, 29 July, at a well attended session at the Hare in Harlow.
Following an incredibly positive General Election campaign Harlow Green members felt that they could more effectively dedicate themselves to the needs of the Harlow Green community by breaking with Epping Green party.
As a party representing the Harlow constituency members feel that they will be able to focus on Harlow specific issues, target local council seats in future elections and become a more effective voice for those who oppose austerity in the town.
An AGM will follow in September and interested Harlow residents are encouraged to visit the Green Party website for full details about how to join us.
