A 47-year-old man accused of causing the death of former Harlow College dance student Daniela Ruggiero in a car accident has appeared in court.

Ms Ruggiero and her friend Charlotte Dove were killed in an accident on the A10 in Hertfordshire on October 15, 2013.

Luiz Rocker, 47, from Ware, has been charged with causing their deaths by dangerous driving. He appeared at Stevenage Magistrates’ Court on Monday but did not enter a plea.

He is due to appear at St Albans Crown Court on Monday, September 7.
