PETER PAN was the type of show that every child and every adult could wish for. Enchanting, engaging and hugely entertaining. It left the packed audience on a Saturday afternoon wanting more but going away knowing they had seen something special.

And even when they went out of the auditorium, the cast were there to mingle and speak to the audience. And all praise to Tinkerbell (Jessica Forman), who stayed in character, remaining silent but still lovely.

Firstly, praise must go to Peter Pan, played by Kali Dronsfield who played the role with both a boyish charm and feminine wile. She dominated the stage and led from the front. A wonderful singer to boot.

Naturally, Phil Dale was superb. He played a number of roles (you guess) and played them with great style, gusto and devilish charm.

We must take a moment to praise seven-year-old Sam Ronco, who was such a star, a tiny one physically but a major one dramatically.

This was a performance that also got the audience involved. And the audience really appreciated it and enjoyed the show even more.

The songs were great, the sets complimented the performance and the script sped along at a lively pace.

It should be stressed that these are young developing actors and actresses but they have a great work ethic and clearly a professional approach that pays tribute to their coaches.

Peter Pan is on from Sunday September 20 th to Sunday September 27th.
