STEWARDS Academy has added a new jewel to its crown with the opening of the new science block.

Headteacher Rhona Murthar was joined by the chair of governors, Jeff Tarling in cutting the ribbon and open the state of the art two room block.

The cutting edge facilities will augment the ambitions the school has for science.
Afterwards, the headteacher and head of science, Russell Perrin spoke to staff and guests.
