HARLOW Town will be hoping for another magical FA Cup performance as they travel to Vanarama national league side, Braintree town as massive underdogs.

A win would see Harlow enter into the prestigious first round proper draw for the first time since 2008, when boss Danny Chapman was playing for the Hawks as they lost out to Macclesfield Town in a 2-0 defeat.

Chapman will lead his side into the game with the confidence taken from beating Vanarama national league south side Bath City 2-1 in the previous round. This will no doubt leave many Hawks fans feeling they have the ability to mix it with the higher division sides.

Despite this, Harlow go into the game as distinct underdogs being 3 divisions below their opponent Braintree.

Harlow approach the game in high spirits after a 2-0 league win against fellow promotion hopefuls Dereham Town last Saturday, as well as the magnificent victory over Bath in the previous round of the cup being fresh in the memory.

Braintree Town

Braintree currently sit 8th in the Vanarama national league and are firmly in the run in for promotion to the football league.
