Harlow-based company launch new technology in Rome

LUMINO announced today that it will launch its new phosphor-core technology at the 5th edition of the Professional Lighting Design Convention in Rome.

Commenting on the launch, Andrew Small, Managing Director of Lumino said: ‘We are really excited to present what we believe to be a key innovation in colour rendering. The first feedback we have received has been really positive. Lighting designers come to PLDC to keep abreast of changes in technology and high quality knowledge transfer. They also expect innovation; therefore, we are proud to be launching our new technology ColorCORETM in Rome!’

After two years of research, development and testing, Lumino ColorCORETM technology delivers warm whites in our highest ever colour rendering. ColorCORETM High CRI stands out with excellent colour rendering of up to 95 Ra8 and 92 Ra14 thanks to high values across the entire R1-R14 colour palette.
Phosphor-core technology

ColorCORETM is Lumino’s proprietary phosphor-core technology converts single frequency 450nm blue light into full spectrum, visible white light with strong rendering of reds, blues, greens, oranges and yellows.

ColorCORETM can be specified in all of the Lumino linear lighting profiles including the Vector range V10S for coving, V12S, V20S for interior and exterior lighting and the larger V36 surface, recessed or, exterior in-ground versions.

Warmer than everAlongside high colour rendering, ColorCORETM products come in a whole new palette of colour temperatures from 4500K to Candlelight Warm White 2000K.
