ESSEX Firefighters were called to an RTC involving one vehicle on the M11 between junction 7-6. The vehicle had left the roadway, gone down the embankment and ended up in a ditch.

Firefighters stabilised the vehicle and used specialist cutting equipment to release three casualties from the vehicle by 02:26hrs. The casualties were left in the care of the Ambulance Service.
