Harvey Centre set to launch the big Christmas switch on!

HarveyTO celebrate Harlow’s launch of Christmas on 14 November, The Harvey Centre is pulling out all the festive stops for its visitors – including bringing to life all of the characters from the ‘Twelve Days of Christmas’, free giveaways and ‘living’ Christmas trees!

From maids a milking and French hens to Lords a leaping and turtle doves, all twelve characters from the famous song will be roaming the centre to meet and greet shoppers on 14 November from 11am to 4pm.

Snow White will also be making an appearance in the centre between 12pm and 3pm. before she steps on stage at Harlow Playhouse. Shoppers will also be able to spot roaming candy canes, a special Snowman and live Christmas trees! The festive fun will continue with free face painting, sweet treat giveaways and much more.

The centre is joining up with Harlow Council and the Water Gardens for the launch this year, with entertainment including Frozen characters and local dance group Hip Hop Pop.

Having launched earlier this month (on 7 November), The Harvey Centre grotto will also be open, inviting visitors to step inside to meet Santa himself. Set in a beautiful festive scene with woodland creatures, the grotto is open seven days a week and tickets are priced from £4.50 (with a gift or picture included).

With a range of both big brands, like Primark, HMV and Argos, and independent stores, The Harvey Centre has everything you could need for the festive season, from party wear and accessories to a wide range of gifts and food. To ensure shoppers get the most out of their festive shop, the centre will be staying open until 8pm on the last three Thursdays before Christmas (3rd, 10th and 17th).
