HARLOW Town face a tough trip away to fellow promotion hopefuls Tilbury tomorrow afternoon in what promises to be an intriguing clash.

The Hawks come into the game on the back of a much needed 3-1 win at home to Heybridge Swifts on Tuesday evening, thanks to goals from Small, Melaugh and Benjamin.

The win lifted them to 12th place, and they are now nine points off the play-offs. However, they do still hold four games in hand over Bury Town, who currently occupy the last play-off position in 5th.

Speaking after the victory against Heybridge Swifts, Harlow boss Danny Chapman said “we’ve got to put some wins together, three or four wins and all of a sudden you’re back up there. It is hard when you’re so many games behind, but it’s all about our mentality. Our aim was always to get promoted and that hasn’t changed”.

Tomorrow’s opponents Tilbury sit in 7th position, just three points off the play-offs with a game in hand. They drew 0-0 at home to Maldon and Tiptree on Tuesday night.
