Churchill’s grandson visits Victoria Hall and praises Harlow for preserving Sir Winston’s memory

THE GRANDSON of Sir Winston Churchill has praised Harlow for keeping the memory of his grandfather alive.
Sir Nicholas Soames made the comments on a visit to the Victoria Hall in Old Harlow on Friday night.
The hall erected a blue plaque in 2013 to commemorate a speech Sir Winston once made at the hall.
A that time, Harlow was part of his constituency of Epping.
YH spoke to Sir Nicholas about his grandfather and his legacy.
He later went on to speak at the annual Harlow Conservatives Churchillian Dinner.
