Ladies 1’s Wapping win

Pressing for an equaliser Harlow lost two late goals. The score line didn’t reflect the game but Wapping deserved their win

Harlow visited Wapping with another reshuffled pack. The best run of the season long since over following inconsistency in the team available.
Despite the changes in personnel Harlow started the stronger. Tani Naidoo and Rowena Rickett linking well together in midfield supported by Hayley Leach stepping up into the first team. 
Harlow nearly took the lead from a short corner when Bethan Spencer sent a flick towards the top left hand corner of the goal going just wide of the upright. 
The half time score 0-0. Wapping kept using their substitutes and in the end the extra legs had an impact.

Wapping took the lead when their left half was able to find some space on the top of the D and a shot was deflected goalwards leaving Hay with no chance. Harlow were forced to commit more players forward to find an equaliser.
They came close through Byers whose shot was saved. Tweddles shot was deflected just wide by a Wapping defender and Esterhuysen-Smith had shots saved. 
The gaps at the back were exploited by Wapping through and they scored another 2 goals in the last minutes of the game as Harlow pressed forward in search of a goal.
