BILLERICAY Strider, Crispian Bloomfield tore apart the course record with a wonderful display of front running at the Harlow parkrun.

Crispian ran a time of 16.51 as he made mincemeat of the undulating course.

Male placings:

Crispian Bloomfield (VM35-39) of Billericay Striders RC, was first over the line in 16:51 – first appearance.

Ben Chitiyo(VM45-49) of Harlow RC, was second over the line in 19:18 – has been first to finish on 14 previous occasions.

Gareth Marshall (SM30-34) of London Heathside Runners AC, was third over the line in 19:24.
