Football: Harlow Town slump to defeat against Sudbury

Ryman Div One North
Harlow Town 1 v 2 AFC Sudbury
THE Hawks were on the front foot during the first half, and a period of pressure paid off when Joe Benjamin took the lead for the home side. Against the run of play, a freak goal let Sudbury into the tie after Harlow squandered a host of chances.
With the second half a much more open affair the two sides traded blows, and as it looked as though the spoils would be shared, Sudbury struck with only three minutes left to seal the win.
The result is not a disaster. Harlow are eleventh in the league, just five points off the play offs.
They return to action away against Great Wakering Rovers next Saturday at 3pm.
