HARLOW MP, Robert Halfon has thanked the Harlow community for their help and support in obtaining a two year injunction against named travellers encamping in Harlow.

Robert Halfon said: ‘I would like to thank everyone from Harlow and Essex County Council and particularly the Harlow Anti-Social Behaviour team, who have done everything to make this possible.

I am currently working hard with the Government ensure that there are even tougher laws against those individuals setting up illegal encampments, especially on green fields and spaces.

“I’m also urging the Government to strengthen powers to remove illegal encampments and make it impossible to be removed from one unauthorized encampment, only to move to another one very nearby.’
