Merry Christmas BurntHARDWORKING students have been rewarded…by their fun-loving teachers.

As has become tradition among many schools, Burnt Mill Academy, in Harlow, and Forest Hall School, in Stansted, have released their own Christmas videos.

The films, featuring hundreds of teachers and school staff, were released online during the last week of the school term to inject some festive fun.
Last year’s film by Burnt Mill attracted 12,586 views on YouTube.

Adam Smith, director of both films, said: “We have known all year what we wanted to do for our Christmas videos. This year, we’ve tried to get as much of the schools involved as possible.

This is the first year Forest Hall have produced a film, while it’s the second year running for Burnt Mill.

John Blaney, head of school at Burnt Mill, said: “We do this to wish our students and their families a very happy Christmas and to thank them for their continued support throughout the year.

“The theme of the song this year we felt had a very important message in the context of what is going on around the world and we hope our students and their loved ones have a peaceful New Year.”
