A PASSIONATE advocate of The Square made an emotional defence of the iconic organisation at a Harlow Council meeting on Thursday night.

Emma Batrick detailed how important The Square was to the cultural and social fabric of Harlow life. Her speech was endorsed by the deputy leader of the council, cllr Emma Toal.
