BURNT MILL has once again topped the charts for first preferences in secondary admissions in 2016.

But there is better news for Mark Hall, who have seen their numbers double in a year.

For the past two years only 30 parents have put the First Avenue school down as first choice.

But this year it has leapt up to 79.

Burnt Mill – AN = 210, 1st preferences = 304

Passmores – AN = 240, 1st preferences = 250

Stewards – AN = 210, 1st preferences = 218

St Mark’s – AN = 172, 1st preference = 112

Mark Hall – AN = 210, 1st preferences = 79

2015 figures
