CHILDREN and staff at Kiddi Caru’s Day nursery in Harlow Shimmied with Timmy in order to raise funds for Sport Relief last week.
On Friday 18th March the nursery held a sponsored Neon Disco, with the children and staff dressing up in their most colourful outfits to ‘Wooltze’ and Lamb-bada the day away. They also had a Sport Relief themed cake stall to raise additional funds for this great cause.
Sport Relief is one of the UK’s biggest fundraising events encouraging people to get involved in lots of sporty activities to raise cash and change lives. The money raised is spent by the charity to help people living incredibly tough lives, both at home in the UK and across the world’s poorest countries.
Vania Farinha, Nursery Manager, said: “Timmy is one of the children’s favourite characters and incorporating him into our fund raising event was a brilliant idea. We had a fantastic time partying the day away and were pleased to be able to raise money for this worthwhile charity at the same time.”
