IT has been great few months for Parsloe Athletic FC.

What started as a few friends kicking a ball about has snowballed into them winning three trophies in the past three months including The WEEHL Shield, Winners of the the Maldon and Tiptree Tournament.

In particular, last weekend, the boys won one of the most prestigious trophies in Youth Football, the ESF Bognor Regis Tournament.

To be crowned ESF Champions in the u9 tournament and to be presented the trophy by Darren Anderton and Kanu was a fantastic way to finish the season, the boys are already counting down the days to the ESF Grand Finale being held at St George’s Park at the beginning of July.”

Their coach said: “This huge achievement for the Parsloe Athletic U9 boys, Manager – Gary Dundridge and Coach, Nathan Dunn is testament to all the hard work and commitment that has been put in for this small team of young friends who just love to play football”.
