ESSEX Police have charged a man and a woman with theft after an 80-year-old woman had a four-figure sum of money stolen from her after she withdrew it from Lloyds bank, East Gate, Harlow, on Wednesday March 23.

Djani Jovanovic, aged 30, and Jasmina Muslimovic, aged 31, both of Summerton Road, in Oldbury, the West Midlands, were arrested in Linconlshire on Thursday May 26.

They were taken to Harlow police station for interview before being charged with theft.

They have both been bailed to appear before Chelmsford Magistrates Court on Monday June 27.
