MINCHEN Road in Harlow will be closed to traffic for five days for emergency repairs to take place.

Essex County Council has closed the carriageway between the junctions for Orchard Croft and Harefield (near The Stow).

The closure is to allow emergency carriageway patching to take place. Delays are expected throughout the works.

It is anticipated that the work will take around five days to complete.

Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained throughout the closure.

Motorists who use Minchen Road are advised that the alternative route is via Minchen Road, Mardyke Road, Momples Road, Harefield, Minchen Road and vice versa.
