THE Year 11’s at St Marks came together for one last time on the 27th May to celebrate their achievements and reflect on their time at St Mark’s. Each Tutor Group was given a personalised send off by their Tutor and they also had the pleasure of Guest Speaker, Margaret Roberts’ presence (Vice Chair of Governors and a Governor for over 25 years).
They had a dramatic performance by the very talented Aimee Cheung and Sara Afonso while James Knudsen, Kundai Muteweri and Munashe Chitenga
managed to raise the roof with their rendition of “I Need a Dollar”.
The ceremony was brought to an emotional close by the beautiful voices of Abi Obi and Sharon Chapuka.
A spokesperson said: “At this point there wasn’t a dry eye in the house! I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who attended or helped put the Service together and would like to wish the Year 11’s the best of luck in all of their future endeavours. You have been a wonderful year group”.
